Responsibilities:
  • Perform backend administrative tasks including filing, creating templates, invoicing, and managing renewal strategies
  • Prepare and send insurance submissions, pre-renewal schedules, and client communications
  • Collaborate with team members on projects related to specialty risks such as entertainment, hospitality, construction, real estate, fintech, manufacturing, and cannabis
  • Attend client and underwriting meetings, providing support and insights as needed
  • Work closely with underwriters to review policies, troubleshoot issues, and finalize coverage during renewal processes
  • Assist in retention efforts, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives aiming to increase account values
  • Participate in client onboarding, including setting up accounts on Epic
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with Epic insurance management system
  • RIBO License or a Level-2 General Insurance License in your province of residence required
  • Experience managing large accounts with premiums of $50K or more, including some accounts in the millions
  • Strong knowledge of risks such as construction, realty, fintech (Crypto, SaaS), cyber, D&O, E&O, crime, and environmental
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Comfort with occasional in-person meetings across the country
  • Display a Client-first mindset 
Benefits & Compensation:
  • Salary in the range of $75,000 to $90,000
