Our client, located in Canmore, AB, is seeking a Civil Project Engineer (or Civil Technologist) to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to help shape infrastructure that supports thriving mountain communities.

Your Impact
  • Design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway infrastructure, and site servicing projects from concept through construction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to develop innovative, practical solutions for land development and municipal engineering challenges.
  • Lead and support engineering activities while ensuring projects meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that directly influence project success.
  • Engage with contractors, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient project execution.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Technologist Diploma, with eligibility for APEGA or ASET registration.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and land development design (all experience levels encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, along with strong working knowledge of MS Office and Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with local construction specifications, materials, and municipal processes.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
