About the Position
Reporting to the CFO, the corporate controller will be responsible for leading a team of 5 accountants, some of the duties include but are not limited to:

About the Position
Reporting to the CFO, the corporate controller will be responsible for leading a team of 5 accountants, some of the duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting across multiple entities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under ASPE and IFRS.
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, budgets, and variance analysis
- Maintain cash flow forecasts to support operational and strategic planning
- Work closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and liaise with CRA on GST and tax matters
- Oversee tax filings for corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, and trusts
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
- Review and approve payroll, taxable benefits, and regulatory filings.
- Oversee T4s, T4As, WCB, EHT, and related submissions
- Designated CPA
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Public practice experience is required.
- Real estate experience is required.
- Salary: $150,000 to $170,000
- Discretionary Bonus
