The firm serves a diverse client base and is known for its collaborative, professional culture and strong internal support. With experienced litigators and dedicated support staff, the firm provides an environment where a solicitor can practice independently while benefiting from a team-based structure.
About The Opportunity The firm is seeking a seasoned Wills & Estates solicitor to strengthen its solicitor-side practice. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex estate matters, work with established clients, and play a key role in shaping and growing the firm’s Wills & Estates practice. The role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys autonomy, values client relationships, and wants to be a trusted resource within a boutique firm setting.
About The Position The successful candidate will act as the primary Wills & Estates solicitor, managing files independently from start to finish. The role sits within a small, collaborative team and works closely alongside litigators when matters require dispute resolution. You will be supported by experienced paralegal and administrative staff and will have the opportunity to take carriage of active estate files, including high-value matters approaching probate.

The Requirements
- 4+ years of solid Wills & Estates / Estate Planning experience (solicitor-side)
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- Comfortable operating independently as a solicitor within a boutique firm environment
- Strong ability to manage estate files through probate and administration
- Excellent attention to detail and client-facing skills
- Residential real estate and conveyancing experience, including foreclosure work
- Portable book of business (not required)
- Competitive compensation starting from $100,000-$150,000, commensurate with experience
- Fee-splitting arrangements may be considered
