About the Position
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team of four accountants. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

About the Position
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team of four accountants. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and review for AR tasks including invoicing, debit/credit memos, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.
- Provide oversight for AP activities including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor setup, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.
- Oversee semi-monthly payroll processing, payroll journal entries, and month-end payroll reconciliations.
- Support and supervise the Junior Accountant’s work including invoice processing, payments, tax compliance, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations.
- Manage and coordinate the annual billing cycle and implement/maintain credit card and other payment methods.
- Assist with finance-related projects and implementations impacting AR, AP, and payroll functions.
- Ensure all tax filings and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Process year end audit and work with the finance team to compile reports required for financial reporting and operational analysis.
- Participate in financial system implementations and develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ad hoc duties as needed.
- Designated CPA
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience working with payroll, AR and AP.
- Experience working with an NPO is an asset.
- Salary: $110,000 to $120,000
- Hybrid working model
