Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of client accounts, overseeing renewals, endorsements, and invoicing with attention to detail and timeliness
  • Analyze and assess risks within the used car dealer, garage, pollution, environmental, cyber, and related sectors
  • Underwrite, quote, and negotiate renewal terms directly with clients, brokers, and internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear, proactive communication
  • Handle all client inquiries related to policies and claims, troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with underwriting assistants to ensure workflow efficiency and meet monthly deadlines
  • Conduct remarketing for risks that fall outside program guidelines or require alternative quotes
  • Keep current on industry trends, evolving insurance products, and risk management practices
  • Assist in cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing book of business
  • Support the team by providing guidance and oversight to administrative staff as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • RIBO license is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years’ brokering experience with commercial property and casualty products
  • Proven experience with Epic insurance system and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and current industry issues
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include overtime and occasional travel for client visits
  • Willingness to stay current through ongoing training and industry updates
Benefits & Perks:
  • Base salary in the range of $55,000 to $80,000 or more depending on experience and qualifications
