We are partnering with our client to find an Aftermarket Services Manager – Industrial Repair. This mid-management role is responsible for leading aftermarket service operations and driving service revenue for industrial repair solutions across Canada. The position combines leadership, customer engagement, and hands-on problem resolution in a technically driven service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical and Leadership Focus
This role emphasizes leadership and problem-solving rather than design work. The successful candidate will have sufficient engineering knowledge to understand gearbox failures, interpret engineering input, and guide effective resolution strategies in collaboration with technical resources.
Qualifications
Approximately 20% travel, primarily within Canada, with occasional travel to the United States

The position combines leadership, customer engagement, and hands-on problem resolution in a technically driven service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Aftermarket Services team, providing direction, accountability, and day-to-day leadership
- Drive aftermarket sales growth while improving service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute aftermarket sales and service initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex customer service and repair issues
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, engineering, and operations teams to resolve gearbox failures and other service challenges
- Diagnose and assess industrial gearbox repair issues, focusing on root cause analysis and solution development (no design or calculation work)
- Establish and manage authorized repair and service partners, monitoring performance, quality, and compliance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Aftermarket Services function

Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Experience in industrial aftermarket services, repair operations, or industrial sales environments
- Strong understanding of industrial gearboxes, rotating equipment, or similar mechanical systems
- Proven leadership experience within a service, operations, or technical sales environment
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and support informed decision-making
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
