Stacey Danley at Aplin has partnered with our client, a growing non-profit based on the south side of Winnipeg, on the search for a Project Administrator. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent agriculture or environmental science graduate to gain office experience coordinating large-scale sustainability projects.  The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Project Manager by collaborating with stakeholders, hosting meetings, and attending events.

Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and compiling project-related administrative, financial, or technical information from multiple sources
  • Tracking information to ensure projects are meeting deadlines
  • Writing progress reports for internal and external audiences
  • Coordinating meetings and supporting committee functions
  • Attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Qualifications:
  • A related post-secondary degree (agriculture, natural resources, or environmental science) is required
  • A passion for environmental sustainability
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
  • An ability to work with a larger team to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills and in ability to work in a project-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented
  • Proficiency with MS Office
Please note this is a full-time permanent in-office role. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm. A valid driver’s license is required as there will be occasional travel throughout the province.
