Our well-established MGA client is looking to expand their team in Ottawa and is currently seeking an experienced personal lines underwriter to join their team in a remote role. If you're a bilingual insurance professional with personal lines underwriting experience, this could be a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing organization.
Important Note For Applicants: The ideal candidate should be based in the Ottawa area, as the company intends to open an office in the city, after which this role will be in-office 2 days per week.

- $60,000 to $75,000 in base salary

- Build, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with broker partners
- Communicate effectively and respond confidently to broker inquiries
- Resolve broker issues in a timely and professional manner
- Exercise sound judgment and make operational decisions within the assigned authority level
- Fluency in both French and English is required for this role
- Minimum 2 years of personal lines underwriting experience, either at a carrier or MGACIP designation or enrollment, is an asset
