Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently hiring for Construction Management Administrative Assistant (CMAA) for our client based from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for an immediate temporary opportunity. The CMAA will provide comprehensive administrative and document control support to the Construction Management Team at a remote construction site. This fly-in/fly-out role supports effective communication, coordination, and documentation management across multiple site departments and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery. This position will be a 6 month term to start, with a strong potential to extend.

This role has a fly-in requirement. Shift is: work 7 days, 11 hours per day, fly out for 11 days. Must be able to fly out from Saskatoon, SK.
Food and board is included.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Construction Management Team, supporting multiple functional areas
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal site departments, contractors, and external groups to support construction activities
  • Arrange site travel and submit Travel Authorization Requests in coordination with site logistics
  • Support document control activities, including receiving, distributing, tracking, filing, and maintaining construction documentation such as RFIs, Change Instructions, turnover packages, and as-built drawings
  • Maintain project file structures within the company network in alignment with document control standards
  • Participate in cross-training with the Document Control team and support documentation best practices
  • Maintain and update project tracking lists and logs, including Change Instruction Logs, RFI Logs, Daily Logs, deficiency tracking, and master tracking registers
  • Support timesheet tracking and entry
  • Assist with logging, tracking, and follow-up of field deficiencies and punch list items
  • Verify completeness of construction work packages prior to turnover
  • Perform additional administrative and coordination duties as assigned to support project execution
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5 plus years of administrative experience in construction, industrial, or project-based environments preferred
  • Experience with document control and maintaining project logs and tracking lists
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fly-in/fly-out environment
  • Initial 6-month term with potential for extension based on project needs
  • Criminal background check required
  • Drug and alcohol test will be required within 6 months of going to site
  • The General Mine Safety Awareness course is also a requirement
