We are seeking an experienced Underground Mine Supervisor to lead and manage underground crews in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising UG crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.
Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off

Reports To: Mine Superintendent / Operations Manager

Reports To: Mine Superintendent / Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate underground crews of approximately 6 personnel
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and mentoring to UG employees
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and safety inspections
- Monitor productivity, work quality, and adherence to mine plans and schedules
- Identify and address safety concerns, operational issues, and personnel matters
- Complete required documentation, reports, and shift handovers
- Work closely with mine management, maintenance, and technical teams to meet production targets
- Minimum 10 years of underground mining experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an underground mining environment
- Ontario Underground Supervisor Common Core (mandatory)
- WSCC Level 2 certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of underground mining practices, safety systems, and regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
- 14/14 rotation (day and/or night shifts as required)
