Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Government of Alberta office to hire an Administrative Assistant to support a large scanning project. This is a 5 week contract (potential for extension), starting ASAP, located downtown Edmonton.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Operate Fujitsu FI-7700 Scanners to digitize physical documents
- Perform data entry and ensure accurate keyboarding of information
- Maintain organization and accurate records of scanned documents
- Lift and transport boxed records weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing closed-toed footwear
- Manage and handle physical paper records, potentially involving exposure to dust and particulate matter
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in scanning and data entry tasks
- Ability to work effectively with physical documents and handle potential allergens
- Good physical condition to lift and transport boxed records
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain thorough records
