About the Position
You will define project scopes, manage budgets and schedules, oversee procurement and subtrade relationships, and guide technical execution in collaboration with your site team. You will also recruit, mentor, and develop site staff to ensure reliable and accountable project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, execution, and close-out, driving continuous improvement
- Manage budgets, contracts, tendering, and subtrade relationships
- Oversee procurement, cost estimating, take-offs, and change management
- Guide scheduling in collaboration with the Site Superintendent
- Review invoices, prepare monthly billing packages, and monitor cost-to-complete
- Recruit, supervise, and mentor site staff
- Ensure certifications, inspections, and occupancy readiness are completed
- Maintain strong communication with architects, engineers, inspectors, and ownership
- 8+ years’ experience as a construction Project Manager, ideally with industrial or office projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (PMP an asset)
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, budgeting, methodologies, and codes
- Familiarity with Metro Vancouver municipalities (Coquitlam, Burnaby, Vancouver) is an asset
- Experience with pre-construction is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling, and construction management tools
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid driver’s license
- Base Salary: $120,000–$140,000
