In this role, you will play a crucial role in both operational IT support and strategic decision-making for internal technology infrastructure. You’ll oversee equipment deployment, internal servers, backups, cybersecurity, and IT frameworks while contributing to broader IT initiatives that align with business goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute IT infrastructure and security projects from planning through implementation.
- Maintain, configure, and deploy IT systems, networks, hardware, and software across the organization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot servers, local and cloud infrastructure, and security systems to ensure peak performance and uptime.
- Act as the escalation point for complex IT tickets, resolving issues swiftly and thoroughly.
- Oversee internal network operations including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and backups.
- Document systems, configurations, and standard procedures to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Implement updates, patches, and upgrades across environments while minimizing disruption.
- Help integrate and support cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS) to improve scalability and resilience.
- Apply security best practices to protect systems and data, while supporting frameworks like SOC 2.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to one or two team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing IT team.
- Enjoys rolling up sleeves to tackle hands-on technical challenges and projects.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, especially SharePoint and Active Directory.
- Proficient in tools used for IT system administration and security management, including Microsoft 365, N-Central, Fortinet, and Sentinel One (or equivalent platforms).
- Extensive hands-on experience with internal networks, servers, routers, switches, firewalls,virtual environments, and backup systems.
- Strong knowledge of remote desktop software, with the ability to evaluate and recommend improvements.
- Experienced in maintaining secure networks and internal systems.
- Supported internal security programs and audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other compliance frameworks.
- Led cybersecurity training programs and driven organization-wide cybersecurity awareness and compliance.
- Well-versed in documentation, system audits, and change management best practices.
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure and remains calm in complex technical situations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to clarity in documentation and process.
- Embraces continuous learning and explores emerging technologies, including AI tools.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Collaborative team player who naturally supports the growth and development of colleagues.
