Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an IT Receiving Analyst to support its End-User Experience Portfolio. This role plays a key part in hardware receiving, inventory management, and asset lifecycle tracking, working closely with internal operations teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

This is a fully onsite position, 5 days per week in Ottawa, offered as a 1-year contract to start.

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Supplier Management and Organizational Effectiveness, the Consultant will be responsible for the following services:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify goods for the End-User Experience Portfolio

  • Record and initiate goods receipts in SAP and ServiceNow

  • Perform asset tagging of hardware as required

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date hardware records in ServiceNow, including serial numbers, lifecycle state, ownership, and location

  • Pack and ship hardware to alternate Bank locations as required

  • Organize and maintain inventory in the Head Office stockroom

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with forecasting to prevent shortages or overstocking

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and asset counts to validate data accuracy

  • Coordinate hardware disposal and recycling initiatives

  • Liaise with operations teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues

  • Support other related activities and deliverables as required
Qualifications Must Haves
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Receiving Analyst, or in a similar operational role

  • Ability to work fully onsite, 5 days per week in Ottawa

  • Eligibility to obtain Reliability Clearance (minimum 5 years residing in Canada)

Nice to Haves
  • Experience with ServiceNow, SAP, and/or SharePoint Online

  • Experience in inventory management and/or warehouse operations

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
