Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $62-$64 an hour
- Please note, this role will be Hybrid at the client’s downtown Toronto, ON office, 3 days in-office.
- Coordinate compliance activities to support CRO attestation and ensure adherence to OSFI AIRB and capital model requirements
- Oversee self-assessment and gap closure processes for new and modified capital models, including project execution, issue escalation, and tracking critical paths
- Compile quarterly OSFI reporting on model modifications
- Maintain current knowledge of Basel regulatory expectations, industry practices, and internal frameworks
- Identify necessary changes to policies, processes, and systems to meet CAR Guidelines
- Provide regular reporting to Senior Executive Management and the Capital Oversight Steering Committee
- Liaise with project teams, Model Development, Validation, and Internal Audit to ensure documentation supports compliance
- Respond to ad hoc inquiries and provide expert guidance on regulatory interpretation and application
- Execute regulatory reporting in accordance with internal processes and controls
- 3+ years of OSFI regulatory capital management experience (Manager to Senior Manager level)
- Experience assessing OSFI’s Capital Adequacy Requirements and evaluating capital models
- Strong understanding of risk management policies and procedures (credit, counterparty credit, market, and operational risk)
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Graduate education in business or related field, or commensurate experience
