As a Customer Service Representative, you will work directly with farm customers in your assigned region, building trusted relationships and helping producers make informed grain marketing decisions. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work directly with farm customers in your assigned region, building trusted relationships and helping producers make informed grain marketing decisions. You’ll play a key role in supporting both customer success and organizational growth through education, collaboration, and exceptional service.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with farm customers in a defined geographic area
- Negotiate grain contracts and promote competitive grain marketing programs
- Execute grain programs at an assigned market center to achieve targeted volumes and margins
- Coordinate contract logistics and complete related administrative tasks
- Maintain and analyze customer data to better understand business needs and opportunities
- Monitor agricultural trends and proactively support future customer service requirements
- Communicate regularly with producers to increase awareness of marketing strategies and contract options
- Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset
- A personable, professional communicator who enjoys working with a diverse customer base
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and a commitment to doing business the right way
- Adaptable and motivated by learning, growth, and change
- Comfortable using MS Office and other business software
- Previous customer service or sales experience (agriculture experience is an asset, not a requirement)
- Basic understanding of—or strong interest in—the Canadian grain industry
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
