Aplin is excited to partner with a highly regarded Edmonton law firm to recruit a Corporate Paralegal – Annual Returns Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-driven paralegal with CORES Level 1 or 2 accreditation who enjoys corporate compliance work and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.

In this role, your expertise will directly support corporate clients while working alongside experienced lawyers and paralegals in a firm that truly values precision, teamwork, and work-life balance.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the preparation and filing of annual returns for a variety of corporate entities
  • Ensure all filings are accurate, compliant, and completed on time
  • Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes impacting corporate filings
  • Maintain organized corporate records, including minute books, registers, resolutions, and annual minutes
  • Track deadlines and manage compliance calendars with precision
  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate team to resolve issues and support client needs
  • Provide proactive guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients

What You Bring
  • Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma
  • CORES Level I or II certification
  • Experience in a corporate department within a law firm
  • Strong understanding of corporate compliance and annual returns processes
  • Experience working with ALF database
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
  • Professional communication skills and a client-service mindset
