Aplin is pleased to partner with a long-standing client to recruit a Corporate Paralegal with CORES Level III experience. This role provides independent and team-based support to the firm’s Business Services lawyers, delivering accurate and efficient paralegal services.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with new Associates as they grow their practices, with the option to mentor junior paralegals and Associates. They also offer one day to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare corporate documents related to incorporations, amendments, continuances, dissolutions, amalgamations, and extra-provincial registrations
- Prepare documentation for non-profit entities under the Companies Act, Societies Act, and Not-For-Profit Corporations Act
- Prepare share transaction documentation and maintain corporate registers
- Conduct minute book reviews and prepare updating or corrective documentation
- Complete corporate filings through CORES (Levels I–III, as applicable)
- Manage matters, calendars, and documents as part of a legal team
- Liaise with lawyers and external parties, including government agencies and vendors
- Meet firm billing expectations and perform general administrative and file management duties
- Complete additional tasks as required
- Post-secondary education from a recognized Paralegal program
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant corporate paralegal experience
- Proficiency with ALF and electronic databases
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- Experience with Worldox and 3E Elite is an asset
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and professionalism with confidential information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
