Controller

Based in downtown Vancouver, our client is a rapidly growing financial services firm looking to add a Controller to their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with 5+ years of relevant experience!

ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll coordination.
• Keep financial records accurate and assist with month-end close and consolidations across multiple entities.
• Lead financial reporting for public listings, including quarterly/annual filings and MD&A under IFRS.
• Support transactions such as M&A, spinouts, and capital markets activities.
• Work closely with auditors, legal teams, and regulatory bodies (CSE, TSXV)
• Assist with corporate and cross-border tax planning and compliance.
• Improve internal controls and reporting processes for companies preparing to go public.
• Support leadership with cash flow forecasting, cost analysis, and project budgeting.
• Ad hoc duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Public company experience is an asset.
• 5 days in office role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $110,0000 to $120,000
• Discretionary bonus
• 3 to 4 weeks vacation
