Their senior leadership has experience spanning many years working with some of the biggest electrical contractors in Canada and working on some of the biggest projects in BC. The office is based in Langley and they have projects spanning throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and throughout BC.
About the Opportunity
This opportunity is an office-based position based in Langley. You will be working alongside a senior estimator and will report into a Chief Estimator. Projects will be a mix of ICI and include examples such as substations, wastewater treatment plants, data centres and schools. There will be growth opportunities and room for promotion in this role as the company continues to grow.

About the Position
In this role your duties will be as follows:
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop comprehensive estimates
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracted work
- Solicit, evaluate, and incorporate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on scope and clarify requirements throughout the bid process
- Prepare and submit accurate bid packages and proposal documents
- Participate in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution
- Maintain and update historical cost data to support benchmarking and improve future estimating accuracy
- 3+ years experience working for an Electrical Contractor in Canada
- Proficient using Accubid, Procore and MS Project
- Experience working on institutional, industrial and commercial projects
- Experience estimating on projects ranging up to $25M in value
- $90,000 - $120,000
