The role involves handling a range of estate files—including contested matters—and regular client interaction. You’ll also receive training on advanced legal tech and benefit from a structured annual development program.

Practice Focus
- Litigate estate disputes, including will challenges, trustee/executor conflicts, and capacity matters.
- Advise on and draft documents for estate planning and administration (wills, trusts, POAs, directives).
- Guide clients through complex probate and estate issues.
- Conduct negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Provide clear, practical advice with strong communication and drafting skills.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years of estate litigation or a mix of litigation and wills & estates experience.
- JD/LLB and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
- Strong drafting, analytical, advocacy, and client service skills.
- Professional, collaborative, organized, and able to manage files independently.
