In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting underserved communities by ensuring high-quality nursing talent is placed where it’s needed most. You will manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and screening to onboarding and assignment support—while building strong relationships with both candidates and healthcare facilities. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.

Benefits & Perks
  • Competitive compensation and performance incentives.

  • Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.
  • Candidate must be located within Manitoba.

Responsibilities
  • Source, attract, and recruit travel nurses (RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals) for short- and long-term assignments in Northern Manitoba.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, job boards, referrals, and social media.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, license and credential checks, reference verification, and skills assessments.
  • Coordinate interviews, negotiate compensation packages, and extend offers.
  • Guide candidates through onboarding, compliance, and documentation requirements (e.g., immunizations, criminal checks, registration).
  • Work closely with internal teams and Northern Manitoba healthcare partners to understand staffing needs and assignment details.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and assignment records using ATS/CRM systems.
  • Provide ongoing support to travel nurses throughout their assignments, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Stay current with healthcare labour market trends, licensing requirements, and regional staffing demands.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare or high-volume staffing.
  • Strong understanding of travel nursing, healthcare credentialing, or northern/remote staffing (an asset).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
  • A customer-service mindset and commitment to delivering a great candidate experience.
  • Ability to work independently and handle fast-paced recruitment cycles.
