Impact Recruitment is working with a leading Canadian national law firm here in Vancouver, seeking a talented and hard working associate to join their Securities & Capital markets practice group. This is an excellent opportunity to directly work on complex domestic and cross border transactions matters alongside seasoned partners in a tight knit and collaborative team.

The incumbent lawyer will have the opportunity to work independently and in collaboration with Partners on a broad range of complex securities & capital markets matters, including but not limited to public mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; financing transactions, including public offerings of securities; and compliance with both corporate and securities regulatory requirements relating to stock exchange listings, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations and shareholders’ meetings.

Qualifications
- Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
- 2+ years of post call experience. Focus of experience in securities & capital markets highly preferred
- Comfortable with an annual billable target of 1800
