Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of family law clerk experience, with a strong grasp of procedures, documentation, and financial analysis in family law cases
- Proficiency with DivorceMate software and extensive experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Strong communication skills for client meetings, preparing legal documents, and coordinating with witnesses
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
- Experience working with court filings, trial preparations, and case management software
- Knowledge of child support, spousal support calculations, and net family property statements
- Familiarity with billing and cost preparation processes
- Post-secondary education in Law Clerk Studies or a related field
- Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience
- Three weeks of vacation plus sick/personal days
