- Run full-cycle, semi-monthly payroll including adjustments, deductions, and remittances.
- Prepare Records of Employment, year-end tax documents, and payroll reports, and support audits.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial payroll regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records in both our HRIS and employee files.
- Administer benefits enrolments, changes, and terminations, ensuring timely processing.
- Support HRIS configuration, updates, and testing - helping improve workflows across payroll and HR.
- Generate reports, audit data, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Respond to employee questions with professionalism, confidentiality, and care.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll and support journal entries.
- Jump in to support HR initiatives and projects as needed.
- 5+ years of experience administering Canadian payroll.
- Post-secondary diploma and/or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to troubleshoot errors.
- Confident working independently and taking initiative in a fast-moving environment.
- Tech-savvy and eager to expand your HRIS expertise (experience with Ceridian Dayforce is an asset).
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator with a customer service mindset and a high level of discretion.
