Our client, a leader in the Defence and Technology industry, is seeking a Junior Recruiter to join their team in Dartmouth, NS or Ottawa, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, high-volume recruitment environment and play a key role in supporting hiring initiatives across Canada. 12-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent.

Benefits & Perks
- $22–$25/hour compensation
- 12-month contract with potential for extension
- Please note, twice a week at the Dartmouth, NS Office or Ottawa, ON.
- Option to work a fortnight schedule
- Support full-cycle recruitment for a variety of high-volume roles across Canada
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to align recruitment efforts with business needs
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, and proactive outreach
- Screen and coordinate candidates through all stages of the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support university relations, early careers, and other recruitment initiatives as needed
- Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team across Canada
- 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or agency recruitment
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Bilingual (English & French) considered an asset
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance (must have 5 years of residency in Canada)
