Our client, a respected and growing commercial insurance brokerage, is seeking a Senior Account Administrator to support their Broking Services & Account Administration team.
This role works closely with Account Executives and the broking team to support the placement, renewal, and servicing of commercial insurance accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - Assist with preparing submissions and marketing commercial accounts
- Support renewal and quoting processes; bind coverage with underwriters
- Prepare proposals, certificates, endorsements, invoices, and financing agreements
- Follow up with clients and insurers on outstanding information
- Maintain accurate client files, expiry lists, and documentation
- Review policies against binders/quotes for accuracy
- Support claims reporting and client communication
- Work with accounting on receivables and reconciliation issues
- Handle SOVs, equipment schedules, and policy documentation
- Provide backup support to team members during absences
- Deliver strong internal and external customer service and communication
- Minimum 12 months of insurance experience
- Level 1 General Insurance license (or equivalent with ability to obtain BC license)
- Commitment to obtaining Level 2 within 6–12 months
- Experience with commercial insurance (CGL, property, equipment breakdown)
- Strong understanding of certificates of insurance, SOVs, invoicing, and policy checking
- Familiarity with MGAs, Lloyd’s, and specialty markets considered an asset
- EPIC broker management system experience an asset
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong teamwork mindset with a proactive and professional approach
