About the Opportunity
The firm is looking to fill a junior administrative position with an individual who will provide floating support across multiple teams. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to various aspects of legal administration and direct mentorship from experienced professionals. It's an excellent fit for someone who enjoys variety in their work, is comfortable managing shifting priorities, and is looking to grow into a full assistant role over time.

About the Position
This role provides cross-team support, assisting with scheduling, inbox management, and basic administrative tasks. The successful candidate will work with multiple lawyers and administrative assistants. The role also includes front desk coverage during staff breaks and absences. Training and support will be provided to help the candidate become self-sufficient within six months.

The Requirements
  • Strong interest in legal administration; legal experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Willingness to learn software tools such as:
    • NetDocuments
    • iPRO
    • ProLaw
    • Zoom/Teams
    • Dictation software
  • Ability to manage shifting tasks and priorities across multiple teams
  • Bright, resourceful, and eager to take initiative
  • Ability to handle a steep learning curve and work independently over time
  • Diploma in Paralegal Studies or Legal Administration is an asset, but not required
