Senior Manager, Internal Communications 130K base + bonus
The Senior Manager, Internal Communications and Employer Branding is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance employee engagement and strengthen the organization’s employer brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this role serves as the voice of the CEO—crafting messages that align with the executive vision and company values while fostering a cohesive brand narrative internally and externally. The role also provides event planning support to the CEO’s office, ensuring seamless execution of internal events that reinforce key messages and company culture.

The role also provides event planning support to the CEO’s office, ensuring seamless execution of internal events that reinforce key messages and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary communications liaison for the CEO, crafting messages and announcements that align with the company’s vision and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, executive communications, and PowerPoint presentations that reflect the CEO’s voice and organizational priorities.
- Develop and implement communications to support HR policies and programs.
- Design and execute employer branding strategies that attract and retain top talent while amplifying the CEO’s leadership vision.
- Identify and lead content creation for top employer award submissions.
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing to develop content that showcases company culture, values, and employee experiences.
- Ensure consistency between internal and external messaging by aligning the employer brand with client and customer communications.
- Manage the company’s presence on employer review sites and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the CEO’s brand message.
- Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including blogs, videos, and employee testimonials, often reflecting the CEO’s perspective.
- Partner with leadership and Marketing to share stories that highlight the company’s mission, values, and strategic direction.
- Leverage AI tools to support creative design and content creation, ensuring innovative and engaging materials.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to measure the effectiveness of internal communication and branding initiatives.
- Plan and execute internal events such as town halls, leadership summits, and engagement activities that align with company culture and leadership messaging.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure the successful execution of communication and branding initiatives.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication and branding programs, providing insights and reports for senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in internal communications, employer branding, or a related leadership role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience crafting executive-level messaging.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency with digital communication platforms and social media management.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and metrics to inform strategy and measure impact.
- Experience planning and coordinating corporate events.
- Familiarity with AI tools for internal communications, such as Microsoft Copilot, ContactMonkey, and ChatGPT.
