We’re seeking an Architectural professional with a passion for design, technical precision, and client collaboration to join our clients team. This role focuses on commercial projects in the retail and restaurant sectors, where you’ll take the lead in transforming client concepts into functional, high-quality spaces.
You’ll work directly with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to develop detailed design drawings, coordinate with mechanical and other building systems, and ensure each project meets the highest standards of efficiency, aesthetics, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand project goals, design intent, and operational needs.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for commercial and restaurant projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants—especially on mechanical and building systems.
  • Support all phases of design, from concept to construction.
  • Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning bylaws, and accessibility standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Environmental Design or Masters in Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly in the commercial sector (stores, restaurants, or similar).
  • Proven experience working directly with clients on design and project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and building systems integration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and think creatively.
