About the opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a Travelling Superintendent to manage large-scale projects across the U.S., primarily within the retail, warehouse, and distribution sectors. Typical project values range from $20M to $50M, including big-box retail builds, logistics centers, and multi-acre site developments.
The role offers a 10-days-on / 4-days-off rotation, 15% travel uplift, $165/day per diem, and vehicle rental allowance. You’ll be supported by an experienced project management team and work on projects that challenge and grow your leadership abilities.

About the position
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Travelling Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership and coordination throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor performance.
  • Drive project schedules, logistics, and resource management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Foster strong communication between clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Lead and mentor site teams to achieve project goals.
Job Requirements
  • 10+ years experience as a Site Superintendent working on light industrial retail projects
  • Project experience building warehouses, distribution centres, food processing plants a strong asset
  • Strong safety record
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Canada
  • Ticketed trade certification an asset
  • Proficient using MS Project and Suite

Compensation
  • $130,000 - $160,000
