The role requires managing all field and site operations from groundbreaking through to turnover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to spec. This is a key leadership role overseeing site staff, subcontractors, client interactions, and overall execution.

About The Opportunity
You will lead the charge on commercial construction projects, managing all field and site operations from groundbreaking to completion. You’ll direct crews, mentor Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Foremen, identify training needs, and support apprenticeships.
Main duties:
- Lead on-site construction operations.
- Manage site personnel, including foremen, subcontractors, and site staff.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (OH&S), conducting regular site inspections and safety meetings.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to plan work sequences, resolve issues, and drive project efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce quality assurance and control measures.
- Chair and document regular site meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks to schedule, cost, and safety in a proactive and solution-oriented manner.
- Participate in constructability reviews, planning sessions, and schedule development during preconstruction when required.
- Mentor junior superintendents and field staff.
- Ensure thorough documentation of site progress, incidents, and coordination activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives and inspectors on site.
Must Have:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Proven hospital/healthcare experience.
- Journeyman trade certification.
- Ability to manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of LEAN construction principles.
- CSTS 2020 certification.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Salary: $150K – $180K
