About the Opportunity
As a Senior Manager – Audit, you’ll lead high-profile assurance and advisory engagements, oversee engagement teams, and provide strategic direction to both clients and internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a client-facing leadership role and enjoys balancing technical depth with people development. You’ll also collaborate with firm leadership on business development and practice innovation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex audit and assurance engagements across diverse industries
  • Oversee engagement planning, risk management, and deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and quality
  • Review and sign off on financial statements under ASPE and IFRS
  • Partner with firm leadership on client acquisition, retention, and expansion opportunities
  • Coach, mentor, and review the work of Managers, Seniors, and junior staff
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to firm-wide quality and efficiency initiatives
  • Represent the firm in professional communities and help build its external presence
The Requirements
  • CPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) in good standing
  • Minimum 7 years of public practice experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and Canadian assurance standards
  • Proven experience managing multiple engagements and client relationships simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for developing people and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture
  • Business development experience considered a strong asset
