Our Calgary-based client is looking for a Family Law Associate with three to five years of experience.  Experience in separation agreements, asset division, parenting issues, and spousal support required.
This is a leadership role that will require the associate to work closely with the other members of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, with excellent organizational skills to handle a busy practice
  • Adapt to the growing needs of the firm and to exercise good judgment
  • Deliver high-quality client service orientation and possess the mindset to grow the scope of the firm
  • Proven track record in managing files with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate skills in negotiation, research, and legal drafting
  • Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Maintain an accurate record of case files
  • Keep updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices
Qualifications:
  • Good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
  • Three to five years of experience in Family Law is a must
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
