Commercial Account Manager

Our Insurance Brokerage client is currently in an expansion phase, and they are looking to hire motivated individuals to service their growing commercial insurance book. This is a fantastic opportunity for entry-level commercial lines candidates with a bit of experience who are looking to grow themselves into solid Account Managers. This is a fully on-site role in the client's Niagara office.

Responsibilities

• Support senior account managers in servicing Commercial Lines accounts
• Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, renewals, and policy documents
• Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, certificates, and documentation
• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and cancellations
• Maintain accurate client files and documentation in the agency management system
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell insurance products under the guidance of senior staff
• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding client requests and renewals
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurers, and internal team members
• Stay up to date with insurance products, coverage options, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of commercial lines experience
• RIBO license is required
• Experience with Powerbroker is an asset
• Knowledge carrier portals and guidelines are an asset
