Aplin has partnered with our client to hire a Project Manager to support a variety of large-scale initiatives within Manitoba. This role requires a proven leader who can successfully manage complex projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver results within scope, budget, and timelines.

Reporting to a senior leader, the Project Manager will apply established project management principles and methodologies across the full project life cycle — from initiation through to planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out. The successful candidate will provide leadership, ensure project deliverables are achieved, and foster strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and communications
  • Lead project teams and support change management strategies
  • Oversee procurement, quality, and integration of project deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and reporting
  • Promote a professional, collaborative, and solution-focused work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 5 plus years as a Project Manager with experience in planning and implementing projects
  • Post-secondary degree in business administration, health administration, engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Experience introducing new systems, programs, or processes across multiple stakeholders
  • Prior experience in healthcare, the public sector, or other highly regulated environments is considered an asset
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across diverse teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Qualified candidates must be located in Manitoba; this role can be hybrid or remote
