An independent insurance brokerage with over 50 years of successful operations is currently seeking an experienced personal lines account manager to join their team and service an assigned book of business. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a respected brokerage with strong roots.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day service for a book of personal lines clients, including auto, home, and other personal insurance products
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries regarding coverages, policy changes, billing, and claims
  • Review and process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements
  • Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions based on clients’ needs and risk exposure
  • Market new business and renewal accounts by obtaining quotes from multiple carriers and presenting comparisons
  • Maintain accurate client files, documentation, and activity records within the agency management system
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure superior service delivery
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional insurance products to existing clients where appropriate
  • Assist with claims reporting and follow-up to ensure clients receive timely updates and resolutions
  • Stay up to date on carrier guidelines, underwriting standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years experience working in a personal lines service role in a brokerage setting
  • RIBO license is a must have
  • Must be able to work on-site at the Etobicoke office
  • Experience with Epic is a huge bonus
  • Familiarity with multiple carrier and MGA portals/guidelines 
  • If you can communicate in Portuguese it's a major asset!
