Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage file intake, access, tracking, and completion
  • Draft a variety of correspondence, from routine to complex matters
  • Review and process incoming mail, directing as appropriate
  • Communicate with clients and attend meetings as required
  • Prepare and draft legal documents for clients and court proceedings
  • Process billing and accounts
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and ensure proper file closure
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong background in legal administration highly preferred
  • Excellent skills in writing, transcription, document review, filing, and organization
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Strong project management skills with initiative, sound judgment, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and empathy in client interactions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with Microsoft Teams an asset
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and evolving work environments
  • Professional demeanor and presentation at all times
