About the Role
This is a dual Bookkeeper / Receptionist position combining accounting responsibilities with front-office support. Approximately 10–15 hours per week will be focused on accounting, with the remainder on receptionist and administrative duties. The role is primarily in-office due to banking needs, with potential flexibility for one remote day.

About the Role
This is a dual Bookkeeper / Receptionist position combining accounting responsibilities with front-office support. Responsibilities
- Process invoices, trust accounting transactions, and payments (cheques, EFTs, deposits)
- Perform reconciliations (bank, client, agency vs. direct billing, intercompany)
- Handle insurance-specific accounting tasks such as endorsements and cancellations
- Greet clients, answer phones, and manage general reception duties
- Provide light administrative support including emails and scheduling
- Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of trust accounting, reconciliations, and insurance billing (agency vs. direct)
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with broker management systems (e.g., EPIC) an asset
- Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- $30–$35 per hour, dependent on experience (potentially higher with broker license)
- 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)
- 3 weeks vacation + flexibility/sick days
- Free onsite parking
