We are hiring a Receptionist for our Vancouver law firm client. Based in downtown Vancouver, our client is looking for a professional and adaptable Receptionist to add to their Administration team. Prior experience as a Receptionist in a law firm is preferred.

About The Opportunity
The Receptionist is the first staff member all clients, and visitors, interact with. Greeting guests and providing excellent service, the Receptionist will also manage boardroom bookings, catering, and general administration.

About The Position
  • Welcome and assist clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
  • Manage incoming calls, messages, and call routing through the company’s switchboard system.
  • Coordinate boardroom reservations, hospitality services, and issuance of visitor and employee passes.
  • Oversee reception coverage, adhere to security protocols, and maintain accurate visitor records.
  • Monitor and communicate staff absences during early morning shifts.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
The Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a reception role within a business or professional services environment, legal preferred.
  • Proficiency in computerized switchboard operations, meeting room booking software, and MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, client service, and professional demeanor.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and apply sound problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation
Annual salary range $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
