About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects across British Columbia. You’ll manage all aspects of construction delivery—from pre-construction and planning through to execution and closeout—while working with a high-performing, collaborative team. About the Position
As Senior Project Manager, you will oversee project setup, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while serving as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, site staff, and subcontractors. You’ll provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role offers a balance of office and field responsibilities and requires a proactive leader who can navigate challenges and drive performance across all project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and execution of commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects (mid-to-large scale, $30M+)
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through closeout
  • Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and scheduling
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and site teams
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure smooth execution
  • Organize project teams, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks while resolving project issues in a timely manner
  • Mentor and coach project managers, project coordinators, and superintendents
  • Support proposal development and business growth initiatives as needed

  Qualifications
  • 8+ years with a large, reputable general contractor managing mid-to-large commercial or institutional projects ($30M+)
  • Full project lifecycle experience from pre-construction through closeout, including CCDC 5A/5B to CCDC 2 conversions
  • Stable work history with strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills for PMs, PCs, and Superintendents
  • Excellent client-facing and subcontractor relationship abilities
  • Experience with proposal writing, business development, and improving profitability, safety, or operational efficiency
  • Strong client references demonstrating mentorship and communication

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $160,000–$165,000 + bonus
