Legal Assistant – Corporate Commercial

Located downtown, they are seeking a Corporate Commercial Legal Assistant - a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful client work, build lasting relationships, and grow a long-term career in a trusted, collegial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and handle client correspondence.
• Prepare billings, open and close files, track timelines, and create client packages.
• Draft general correspondence, emails, contracts, and legal documents.
• Maintain and organize client files and contacts, ensuring efficient filing systems.
• Liaise effectively with clients, paralegals, and other stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy corporate/commercial practice.
• Legal Assistant diploma or certificate is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, professional, and comfortable taking on responsibility as skills are demonstrated.
