Our client, a well-established organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This permanent, in-person role offers the opportunity to lead a small team while overseeing the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and accounting operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Present financial results and insights to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small accounting team
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting transactions
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Identify and drive process improvements and system enhancements

Qualifications
  • CPA designation completed or near completion
  • 3–4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Proven (2+ years) of supervisory or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
