Our client, a well-established real estate organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team in Halifax, NS. This is a permanent opportunity.

Benefits & Perks
- Competitive salary: $40K to 50K annually
- Please note, this will be a fully on-site role at the Halifax, NS office.
- Permanent opportunity (Monday to Friday)
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Process and post tenant payments (EFT, cheques, credit cards)
- Maintain accurate tenant account records and issue invoices
- Monitor and follow up on overdue balances with professionalism
- Prepare deposits and reconcile bank transactions
- Generate AR aging reports and assist with monthly financial statements
- Ensure rent billing complies with lease agreements
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, ideally in real estate or property management in Canada
- Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
