We’re looking for a Private Banker to join a growing team in Alberta. This is a unique chance to work with some of the most financially sophisticated clients in the market, delivering creative lending strategies and full-service private banking to high- and ultra-high-net-worth households.

If you’re a seasoned banker who thrives on building relationships, structuring complex credit, and driving business growth, this role is your next big step.

What you’ll do
  • Lead client relationships with high- and ultra-high-net-worth families—balancing new business acquisition with portfolio growth and retention.
  • Design and deliver lending solutions that go beyond the basics: from customized personal credit to commercial-style lending strategies against diverse assets.
  • Act as the go-to advisor for your clients—anticipating needs, providing proactive advice, and connecting them with wealth, trust, and investment partners.
  • Build a strong external network of referral sources and centers of influence to generate sustainable business development.
  • Partner with a dedicated Associate Private Banker and internal experts to ensure your clients receive seamless, high-touch service.
  • Maintain a strong market presence—representing the bank in the community and building long-term client relationships.

Who you are
  • A banker with 10+ years’ experience in private, commercial, or corporate banking; minimum 5 years in commercial credit.
  • Skilled in complex credit structuring and underwriting; comfortable leading conversations with clients on high-value lending strategies.
  • Adept at business development, with a proven external network that consistently drives new opportunities.
  • Relationship-oriented—curious, professional, and comfortable working with influential and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic: you know how to manage a market, grow a book, and hit ambitious goals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced credentials (MBA, CFA, CFP, PFP, CSC) are highly regarded.

How you’ll work
  • Based in Calgary or Edmonton, with flexibility to travel to clients across Alberta (and occasionally SK/MB).
  • Standard office hours (8:30–5:00), but success here comes from being out of the office 3–4 days per week building relationships.
  • Assigned office base plus hybrid flexibility.
