Our client is looking for a hands-on Shop Technician to join our Service Shop team in Innisfil. As part of our Space Rentals division, you’ll be supporting the preparation, maintenance, and repair of modular units for our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work, has a strong focus on safety, and is eager to learn in a supportive environment.
In this role, you’ll work with a team of technicians and operations staff to complete daily safety checks, perform cleaning and repair tasks, and contribute to keeping our shop running smoothly. While prior experience in trades or maintenance is an asset, we’re also open to training motivated candidates who bring a positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

What You’ll Do
- Complete daily safety forms and follow shop safety protocols
- Perform cleaning tasks (walls, windows, washrooms, floors, etc.)
- Assist with general repairs and maintenance of units
- Operate small hand tools and organize shop equipment
- Lubricate moving parts, fill exterior gaps, and install security features
- Help with installing/removing partitions and unit moves
- Work collaboratively with shop team to meet daily goals
- Previous hands-on or trade-related experience (asset, not required)
- Strong focus on safety and willingness to learn
- WHMIS, Ontario 4 Steps, or Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Any tickets/certifications (forklift, first aid) are a strong plus
- Ability to pass background check
