Our client, a respected leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Manager of Investment Services to join their team in Vermilion, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role in investment strategy, portfolio management, and client relationship development while driving long-term financial growth and organizational success.

This position is located in Vermilion, Alberta. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate. Relocation assistance could be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the investment services team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage and grow investment portfolios to meet member needs and organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored financial and investment advice.
  • Monitor financial market trends and adjust strategies to mitigate risks and optimize returns.
  • Oversee compliance with policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of investment products and services.
  • Mentor, train, and support staff to foster a high-performing and client-focused culture.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field; CFA designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in investment management, financial advising, or related services.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound investment recommendations.
