Agricultural/Commercial Business Account Manager

Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to hire an Agricultural/Commercial Business Account Manager based in La Glace, Alberta.

This position is located in La Glace, AB. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate. Relocation assistance could be provided.

In this position, you will manage and grow a portfolio of business clients while delivering exceptional service and customized financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of business loans and deposits
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and cold calling
• Meet with existing and prospective clients to assess needs and recommend financial solutions
• Analyze member financial data and process loan applications, including credit checks and verification
• Conduct annual account reviews and lifecycle management
• Approve or recommend credit applications within authorized limits
• Monitor and address irregular or delinquent accounts
• Promote and maintain the organization’s brand and presence in the community
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
• Stay current with applicable regulations, policies, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural and commercial lending
• Strong ability to analyze financial needs and present appropriate solutions
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Proven track record in business development and portfolio growth
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
• Strong mathematical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
