Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of Labour & Employment files independently.
- Advise clients on wrongful dismissal and termination strategy.
- Negotiate severance and executive compensation packages, including equity-based components.
- Provide white-glove client service to high net-worth executives, primarily in the financial services industry.
- Collaborate with the Partner on complex litigation matters.
- Called to the Ontario Bar, with 5–10 years of L&E experience.
- Strong background in wrongful dismissal and executive compensation.
- Ability to work independently and carry files from intake to resolution.
- Professional, polished presence suited to a high-calibre client base.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to client outcomes.
- Must be available to work on-site, full-time in the Toronto office.
- No book of business required – files are ready to be assigned.
- Base Salary: $150,000–$200,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus: Lucrative structure tied to billable hours (details provided in interview)
- Vacation: 4 weeks

- Report directly to the Partner, a seasoned, respected practitioner known for mentorship and direct communication.
- Work closely with a junior associate and dedicated support staff.
